A neighbourhood wine & cocktail bar

We are delighted to bring you All Apologies - a space where everyone will be given a warm welcome, where you can shake off your stress and maybe even misbehave a little. Whether that means a spritz on the balcony while taking in those breathtaking views overlooking Kinsale Marina; or sinking into a seat in our wine bar while enjoying a glass of wine (or two!) from our rotating list; or sampling exceptional seasonal cocktails in our buzzing cocktail bar. All of this coupled with some delicious small plates showcasing the best of local produce and you might even find yourself on our post-dinner dancefloor by the end of the night.

Just know this: We’ve got you covered.

All we ask is that you leave your “apologies” at the door.

Charlie & Bren

Two people, a man and a woman, smiling and cooking together in a kitchen with various kitchen utensils, plants, and bottles on the counter.

We met working in restaurants opposite one another in Grand Canal Square and got to know each other over far too many drinks! We share a love for this industry and we believe there’s a special magic in the connections and conversations that are made possible in these spaces. We have had the good fortune to work in some exceptional establishments over the years, both home and abroad, and are eager to deliver the same level of care, positivity, creativity and enthusiasm as was curated in all of those wonderful venues.

We are always in search of new and exciting experiences, whether that be food, drink, music or travel. Travel is everything and we never need any encouragement to hop on a plane. We always have tunes on everywhere we go and you can bet that music will be a cornerstone of All Apologies, too.

We love to host and to party, so opening a venue together was a “no-brainer”. All Apologies is a combination of our best nights out and the incredible venues we have worked in across the world, all wrapped up in years of blood, sweat and tears. We want you to feel the same welcome here as you would when stepping into our home… for us, it’s personal.

We look forward to welcoming you - just remember to leave your apologies at the door.

“Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride.”

The Echo - Our Journey to Opening All Apologies

Our Booking Policy - Walk-ins Welcome!

An elderly man smiling and touching his face with both hands against a dark background.

We welcome all “walk-ins” to our venue!

We also accept a limited amount of dinner reservations in our Ground Floor Bar from Thursday to Sunday.

Please make a note when booking if you would prefer another area in the venue. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, taking into account the mood of the Irish Weather Gods!

We accept group bookings (6-12) in our First Floor Bar and walk-in patrons.

We ONLY accept bookings outside on our Ground Floor Terrace and First Floor Balcony for Sunday Brunch. However, we do stress that we may not be able to accommodate a table inside if the weather isn’t suitable for your dining experience.

Our Ground Floor Terrace is dog-friendly and we love to host your four-legged friends!

We kindly ask that you only book if you are planning on dining with us and encourage our “liquid-diet” friends to just rock up to the door and we’ll look after you. We want to be conscious of our waste and this allows our chefs to plan ahead. Thank you for your understanding.

As always, we’re here for the party after our kitchen closes so feel free to rock up to the door!

SUNDAY BRUNCH

We offer two different menus on Sunday:

  • A 4-course Sunday brunch tasting menu for €50/person, which includes a complimentary brunch cocktail/mocktail of your choice on arrival!!

  • Seasonal A la Carte

***Please note that everyone on the booking must commit to the same menu choice.

***TERRACE & BALCONY BOOKINGS ONLY***

We hope you understand that we cannot guarantee an inside table if the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor dining. We will do what we can to keep you covered but we are quite open to the elements on both the terrace and the balcony. (Fingers crossed for a beautiful summer!)
